High School
Excel’s High School is a college preparatory environment offering honors courses, AP options, and dual enrollment through the TMCC Jump Start program. Emphasis is placed on spiritual growth, academic excellence, and leadership, combined with advanced curriculum choices. Students are equipped to excel in higher education and life, supported by a robust mix of electives, Christian values, and cultural relevance throughout their learning journey.
Program Highlights
Our high school program is centered around a curated educational experience for each student. Every aspect is designed to support the student spiritually, morally, relationally and academically beginning in 9th grade until graduation.
Academic Counseling
Each Spring, every student and their family have a meeting with their academic advisor to goal set, course plan and discuss expectations and outcomes. As the student progresses through high school, these meetings expand to include college and career counseling.
Counseling and School Wide Social Emotional Learning
Led by the school counselor, Excel engages in campus wide initiatives to support the students’ emotional and behavioral growth. Programs such as Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports (PBIS) incorporate a standard of caring and self-confidence throughout the campus. We are also able to provide one-on-one counseling for students in crisis, academic enrichement strategies and social-emotional learning.
On Course Senior Program
Seniors at Excel are required to take the On Course class, which prepares students for college, future careers and the annual mission trip. It provides information about visits to colleges (especially Christian colleges) and how to apply. This course culminates in the annual Senior Project in which a mentor guides the student on a a topic of their choice and the senior presents the findings.

Our team of administrators and specialists are equipped to provide students with a tailored educational program to best meet their needs and support their academic journey. This team works closely with each faculty member and with families to make sure that we provide an environment that allows students to thrive.
Mission in Action
The heart of our program includes out vision to raise up Christ-centered leaders who are fully equipped to impact their homes, their communities and the world. Servant Warriors Around Town is our initiative where students go out into the community throughout the year and engage in age appropriate service projects. Additionally, our 8th grade and 12th grade classes go on annual mission trips (both national and international).
