For the 2025-2026 school year, Excel will accept children into kindergarten who turn age 5 by September 30. Beginning with the 2026-2027 school year, Excel will accept children into kindergarten who turn 5 by September 1.

Birth Certificate:

Parents need to show the school a birth certificate or passport as proof of the student’s age. The student must be enrolled under the name that appears on this document.

Health Record:

A current immunization record must be obtained from your doctor or from the Washoe County Health Department. Immunizations must be up-to-date according to the Washoe County Health Department standards before the student may attend Excel.
