Is Your Student College Bound?
We believe here at Excel Christian School that the way we have structured our learning environment will pave the way for students looking to attend college to advance their learning and career opportunities.
We are a 501c3 with accreditation from ACSI and AdvancEd. We also participate and cooperate with NIAA for our sport program.
Philosophy: “We develop a loving, nurturing environment that through relationships, we minister to the whole person: spiritually, intellectually, physically, emotionally, and socially.”
Vision: “To raise up passionate, Christ-centered leaders who are fully equipped to impact their homes, their communities and the world.”
Mission: “Motivating students to find joy in the pursuit of spiritual, moral, relational, and academic excellence.”
Campus Details:
All students classes are on our campus at 850 Baring Blvd. Sparks, NV. The pre-k and elementary school is housed in a separate building on campus that is 9000 square foot building that was built in 2013. The high school and middle school have class rooms in the main front area with a gym attached. We also have a side building that is multi use, 3 portables on campus, a playground and a large field used for recess and high school and middle school football.
Safety on Campus:
Having a safe campus is one of our highest priorities. We continue to add safety measures and protocols to ensure our campus is safe for children’s learning.
Governance Structure:
Our school has a board that works with our administration to make decisions and lead the school into the future. It is not owned by a church but instead serves all of the local Christian churches in the region. We have 5 board members that are a mix of community leaders and parents.
Executive Leadership:
All of our administration either have attained bachelor degrees, most of them have master degrees, and they all have many years of experience in the administration of private education. We currently have 60 full time and part time employees.

We have foreign exchange students who come to our school for seasons of their lives. We have had students from South Korea, Spain, China, and Germany.
Instructional Program:
We work diligently to teach our students to be a balanced and whole human being. We do believe that this means we are teaching spiritual, intellectual, moral and relational principals and disciplines. We do offer college credits through our relationship with Multnomah University.
Robotics & Engineering- We are developing a robotics and engineering curriculum that will be threaded through every age of our students learning. It will begin with Legos in the elementary and will be focused on robotic and technology development for our older students. We are working with Multnomah and other local businesses to assure this program infuses into our focus on STEAM educational opportunities. The result will be new critical learning skills, group projects, coding, and much more.
We have a science lab, gym, music, art and many other learning opportunities to inspire the students.
College Bound Students:
We serve students from a myriad of back grounds. Our average college bound student not only have the testing scores needed to pursue their dreams but also have a foundation to handle the stresses that will come their way

Christian Education:
We believe that creating a safe environment for students to learn about themselves and who the Lord is crucial to their overall development. In order to facilitate this, we have student mentor groups, have weekly chapels for each age group, daily teach Christian studies and yearly take the time to serve our community and go away for a week to a retreat where students can escape the distractions of the culture.
